Build something that lasts.
Domenici Building Company was built on a simple idea: that the homes we put on Muskoka's shorelines and granite ridges should be as thoughtfully made as the landscape they sit in. That standard doesn't come from a process document. It comes from the people holding the tools.
We're not just framing walls and setting stone — we're solving for steep terrain, waterfront constraints, and clients who've waited years for this project. That takes more than technical skill. It takes honesty, a sharp eye for detail, and the kind of pride that shows up in the parts of a build nobody sees.
Our team communicates clearly, respects the budget and the timeline, and treats every project as a chance to get better at the craft. We work hand-in-hand with homeowners, architects, designers, and trades — which means we look for people who can be trusted on a job site and in a conversation.

You've got the experience to run a task from layout to finish and the judgment to know when something isn't right. You'll work on custom homes and full renovations across Muskoka — framing, decks, interior and exterior finishing, and the problem-solving that comes with waterfront and rock-terrain builds.
Proven carpentry experience in residential construction; custom or high-end work an asset
Comfortable reading plans and working from architectural drawings
Own hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
Able to mentor helpers and apprentices on site
Red Seal or apprenticeship hours an asset, not a requirement
-
A hands-on role for someone building toward a career in the trade. You'll work directly alongside our carpenters, learning the craft on real projects rather than watching from the sidelines.
Some construction or trades experience preferred; the right attitude matters more
Genuine interest in learning carpentry and progressing in the trade
Able to take direction and ask questions when something isn't clear
Reliable transportation to job sites across Muskoka
Basic hand tools an asset

We don't treat landscaping as the last thing that happens after the build. Hardscaping, grading, stonework, and planting are what settle a home into its site — patios, retaining walls, steps cut into granite, and the transitions between a house and the shoreline it sits on.
Experience with hardscaping — interlock, natural stone, retaining walls, steps
Comfortable with grading, drainage, and site prep on uneven terrain
Familiarity with skid steers, compactors, and small equipment an asset
An eye for level, line, and clean finished edges
Reliable transportation to job sites across Muskoka
Horticulture or landscape design training an asset, not a requirement
-
The role that keeps a site moving. Site prep, material handling, cleanup, and support across every stage of a build — the work that makes everything else possible.
Physically capable of demanding outdoor work in all seasons
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Willing to learn and pitch in wherever the day needs it
Reliable transportation to job sites across Muskoka
No prior experience required
