About

Established in 2019 by Liam Domenici, Domenici Building Company was inspired by Muskoka’s beautiful views, its natural rocky terrain, and the unforgettable memories created at a family friend's cottage growing up.

Liam’s experience in custom homebuilding started with a self-taught, hands-on approach. His passion for the craft led him to learn the intricacies of construction through experience. Over the years, he refined his skills by apprenticing with two of Muskoka’s leading building companies, gaining not only technical expertise but also a comprehensive understanding of the region’s unique building culture.

These formative experiences, combined with the experiences of apprenticeships in plumbing and carpentry allowed Liam to master the challenges of Muskoka’s landscape—whether it’s the steep terrain, the granite rock formations, or the special considerations of waterfront construction. 

After moving to Muskoka following university, Liam found inspiration in the area’s pristine lakes and natural beauty. His vision for Domenici Building Company was to create custom homes that harmonize with the landscape and enhance the experience of waterfront living. Muskoka’s unique topography presents its challenges, but for Domenici Building Company these obstacles are opportunities for creative problem-solving, and each project becomes a chance to design and build homes that are not only functional but beautifully integrated into their surroundings. Our focus is on creating properties that elevate the way people experience life in Muskoka. Whether it’s a serene lakeside retreat or a year-round family home, the vision is to deliver homes that offer both comfort and a strong connection to nature.
